Why it is worth a look

  • Good source of interaction and spacing references
  • Useful for dialogs, sheets and form patterns
  • Encourages local ownership of component code

The biggest value here is not dependency reuse. It is pattern study.

Dialogs, bottom sheets, dropdowns, command menus and form layouts are all solved problems. Studying good implementations reduces the chance of inventing awkward interaction patterns later.

Things to keep in mind

  • • Its default ecosystem assumptions may not match Astro directly
  • • Borrow interaction ideas deliberately instead of copying an entire stack
