Collections should tell a story, not just filter a database

A good collection explains why items belong together, what order to explore them in, and which choice fits different kinds of users.

A tag page answers “what has the same label?” A collection should answer a more useful question: what should I look at if I want to accomplish this goal?

Give the set a point of view

Explain the problem first. A “Creator Automation Stack” is stronger when it explains the stages—capture, transform, publish, measure—than when it simply lists ten automation products.

Order matters

A curated list can have a beginning, middle, and end. Put foundational tools first, specialized tools later, and optional alternatives where they make sense.

Mix owned and external content

Collections become much more useful when a tutorial can sit next to a tool. This lets the site connect how to do something with what can help you do it.
